The Board (also known as the Board for Christian Education) oversees religious instruction at Parkland
Lutheran Church which includes Parkland Lutheran School, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, and the Lutheran Youth Society
(LYS). The board is also charged with management of Parkland Lutheran School on behalf of Parkland Lutheran Church. The
board's work does not conflict with the assigned spiritual duties of the church's Board of Elders. Because of the confidential
nature of many items considered by the School Board, its meetings are not open to the public. However, anyone is welcome to
send an e-Mail to board members or obtain an appointment for the purpose of voicing concerns at a scheduled meeting.
